Year 6 Engineers

Year 6 worked hard and thoroughly enjoyed their D.T. lessons this week. 

The children were set a task to research, design, make and evaluate a powered toy car.   They were able to transfer knowledge gained from science and maths lessons to produce a product that worked. 

They are now more able to explain how mechanical systems using: pulleys, batteries and a motor can create movement.
