School Closure

On very rare occasions school may need to close due to a variety of reasons...

• a power cut
• loss of water
• weather eg snow
• national pandemic

If this happens then parents will be informed in the following ways...

• via email
• via  text
• via school APP
• on the website
• via telephone call if above cannot be accessed

We will make every effort to contact parents as soon as possible following a decision being made to close the school.  If school is already open when something happens (eg loss of electricity) the children will be cared for until a parent/carer arrives to take them home.

All parents/carers of children who leave school early will need to sign a form to state they have taken the child.
