Year 5 Visit Jodrell Bank
Year 5 children took their classroom learning on a space exploration when they visited Jodrell Bank.
The trip gave the children a chance to find out more about the solar system and how scientists learn about the universe.
As well as being a well-known visitor attraction, Jodrell Bank has been at the forefront of scientific discoveries for the past 75 years with a Grade 1 listed Lovell Telescope.
Today Jodrell Bank Observatory is owned and managed by the University of Manchester and is a world-leading science research institute, with scientists working at the cutting edge of modern astrophysics.
What a fantastic trip!
