Reception reinforce their learning with a visit to the farm

The children in Reception had a fantastic time at Kenyon Hall this week!

The children had   a tour of the farm learning all about the different fruits, vegetables and crops that are grown there, before having a hunt in the special polytunnels for strawberries. They learnt all about the best way to pick to keep them fresh, and also how to check if a strawberry is fully ripe.

There was also time for a quiz in the farm shopping using all of their knowledge from this years topic, and of course a play on the playground- the sun even made an appearance too!
