Welcome Back and message re Church Lane

Dear Parents,
We hope you had a lovely break over the holiday period and staff are looking forward to seeing all the children tomorrow for the start of the summer term. 
Please note, the school building has had no electricity since Saturday. School staff have been working closely with United Utilities to rectify this. The engineers are are still trying to locate the fault and will need to dig up Church Lane on Sunday and Monday. At this point we do not expected this to affect school on Monday as as a last resort they have assured us they will supply the building with a temporary generator. However, the works could affect access to school via Church Lane. Therefore we request that parents and staff park further away from the building on Monday. Should the situation change we will send out a further update.
Please remember the importance of being on time and given the situation with Church Lane parents may need to leave more time in the morning to ensure children are in school on time. Pedestrians may need to use the Eaton Drive entrance. As a reminder school starts  promptly at 8.45am and doors close at 8.50 am. Children after this time will be recorded as late as per school policy.
