Social media malicious email

Dear Parents,

We have been made aware of an email that has been circulated today, referencing schools being on ‘high alert’ due incidents where three men have approached children at schools and youth clubs in Knutsford, Altrincham and Wilmslow.  This has been accompanied by a photograph of three men. We have had confirmation that the police believe this is being circulated maliciously and is not based on any reported incidents.

We can reassure you that safeguarding children is our highest priority, and school leaders across the area have been communicating with each other and the police this morning, to establish whether this is a genuine concern or not.

Please do not repost or circulate the email and accompanying photo if you see it on social media.

As always, we will follow our robust safeguarding procedures to ensure your children remain safe in school.
