Mental Health Week at AECPS
As part of Mental Health week the children have been using the Vooks Slumberkins story "The Feels" to talk about different emotions and ways to deal with the more tricky feelings! The children identified some strategies that they can use such as:
- breathing in and out
- Counting to 3 (or further if needed)
- Talking to something who makes them feel better
- Doing something relaxing
The children were also introduced to our new class "Wellbeing Wallet" and we talked about how some of these things could be used.
